CUET : INTRODUCTION under CUET Common University Entrance Test (CUET)
is being introduced for admission into PG programmes in Central and
Participating Universities under the Ministry of Education (MoE). The Common
University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal
opportunity to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and
other remote areas and help establish better connect with the Universities. A
single application form will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and
be part of the admission process to various Central and participating
Universities/Institutions. NTA has been assigned the responsibility of
conducting the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to
Post-graduate (PG) Programmes of participating Universities.
PATTERN : No. of questions 100 (MCQs) divided into two parts:
Part A: 25 Questions consisting of Hindi/English Language Comprehension/ Verbal
Ability, General Awareness, Mathematical/Quantitative Ability and Analytical
Skills. Part B: Will have 75 questions on Subject-Specific Knowledge.
ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATIONS : AGE LIMIT For appearing in the CUET (PG),
there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the
bachelor degree/equivalent examination or appearing in current year
irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (PG) examination. However, the
candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria of the University in
which they are desirous of taking admission
